Closed-loop menu improvement
Ngurra’s reporting platform connects with our menu-management system to capture kitchen waste and the reasons behind it.
When food is wasted, the team can record why. This may include meals not being collected, workers not getting an opportunity to eat, products reaching the end of their usable life, overproduction or a menu item not being well received.
The dashboard connects this feedback with the associated CO₂e and water impact of the waste. This gives our chefs practical information they can use to refine menus, production quantities and service planning.
By connecting menu planning, service outcomes and waste feedback, Ngurra creates a closed learning loop designed to reduce avoidable food waste and the environmental impact of the project.

Ngurra’s platform is purpose-built around remote camp operations. Reporting fields, dashboard views and exports can be configured to suit the requirements of the client, project-controls team and operating environment.
If a project requires information to be supplied to an existing ERP, property-management or project-control platform, the reporting format and transfer requirements can be agreed during mobilisation.
Where a project requires it, reporting can also include agreed local and Indigenous participation measures, such as workforce composition or the use of regional and Indigenous suppliers.
The measures, definitions and reporting frequency are agreed with the client during mobilisation so the information supports the project’s own obligations and reporting cycles.
