Ngurra means a place of belonging.
We named the company after the standard we hold ourselves to — for the crews living in the camps we run, and for the regions those camps sit in.
We deliver remote camp management, hospitality and meal supply across regional and remote Australia. We work with project owners and contractors who need capable delivery, a named person accountable for it, and a practical understanding of what actually goes wrong on site.
Someone lives there two weeks at a time, away from their family, working twelve-hour days. The food, the room and how they're treated at the door are the whole of their life outside work.
A project runs five years and ends. What stays is whether local people got skilled work and whether regional and Indigenous businesses got a real crack at supplying it.

Ngurra is run by two operators with thirty years between them in remote camp and hospitality operations.
We've worked across an extensive list of operators in this industry — mining, oil and gas, drilling, civil and energy — in villages, field camps and drilling campaigns across remote Australia. We've run the kitchens, the rosters and the reporting, and we've been on both sides of a handover that went badly.
That's why Ngurra exists. We know which corners get cut on a remote camp contract, because we've been asked to cut them.
